Colorado Rockies Media Relations and Social Media Training

Since 2001, we’ve been providing media relations training to young players throughout the Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball Club and its minor league organizations.

Spring Training 2011 gave us the opportunity to deliver a combination of media relations and social media training presentations to the entire Rockies organization at the Club’s incredible new Spring Training home — Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Phoenix.

For professional athletes who live under a microscope both on and off the field, the growth of social media tools obviously makes it easier and, at times, more challenging to communicate with their fans and other audiences.

It’s extremely rewarding to see the lessons we share and strategies we suggest help these players as they implement their media relations skills on a daily basis.  You talk about the core values of this incredibly well run organization — character, integrity, accountability — and you see the results from the players to the entire business and baseball operations team.
